We're really proud of our online communities. Each course has a student-only Facebook group, and we want these to be a safe space where you can work through the course alongside your fellow Good Shippers.

We've put these community guidelines here (they kept getting lost on Facebook) so you can read them easily.

These are an important part of keeping our student-only groups supportive and useful for you:

Please keep discussions related to the course so that we can keep the group clutter-free and laser-focused!

These kinds of posts and comments go against our community guidelines and make us sad because we have to delete them.

**NO COMMERCIAL LINKS PLEASE** - a commercial link = a link to something to buy. This is so that we can keep the group non-spammy and streamlined. This applies to all commercial links, even if you're not directly benefiting from it.

We want to keep our student-only Facebook groups as a calm, sales-free space. This helps us keep the focus on your work, group discussions, your discoveries, and course-related stuff without any BUY THIS THING! noise going on.

It’s a bit of a grey area with sharing your website links since we talk about websites so much… so we’re aware that can make the link-sharing boundary a bit blurry.

If in doubt, leave the link out 🥰

Spin-off groups 👯
The FOMO (fear of missing out) is real! Spin-off groups also breach our copyright. And we know you don't want to do that.

Promotional or salesy posts/comments 💬 🛒
This group is for sharing your aha's and business insights, and up-levelling your creative career, not selling or promoting other courses or products.

We reserve the right to shut down or delete threads that get off-topic, promotional, or abusive.

General group guidelines ✅

Do not privately message people or otherwise solicit members. (Don't slide into someone's DM's and try to sell them something. Ew.)
All Good Ship material is protected by copyright, don’t share it.
Support other members and your posts will get more support too!
Lifetime access means for the life of the program (it’s not literally your or my lifetime) but we hope we're all creative grannies & grandpas together.

LEGAL STUFF

You must not post anything that:

is the copyright or property of somebody else
might cause a breach of any law or other obligation
may be defamatory, offensive, pornographic, threatening, abusive, liable to incite hatred, or a breach of privacy

We’re not responsible for:

Your relationships with other members
Content of other member’s posts (although we’ll remove anything inappropriate, just flag it)
Meta / Facebook’s change of terms or privacy policy
